BUYjwrVCEAA_mKJThe Wind Waker HD Wii U bundle isn’t supposed to hit North American retail shelves until September 20 (October 4 for the stand-alone physical copy), but that apparently hasn’t stopped some stores from putting it out early. Hit the jump to find out where the remake to the GameCube classic is already sitting on display.

Twitter-user Brian Statom has posted a photo on his account reportedly showing Limited Edition Wii U Bundles for The Wind Waker HD, which package a digital copy of the game with a Wii U console, special GamePad controller with Zelda-themed decor and a digital copy of Hyrule Historia, sitting on a store shelf.

The authenticity and location of the photo can’t be independently verified, but Brian claims in a follow-up Tweet that he took it at a Best Buy in San Antonio, Texas. An employee of the store most likely put the bundle out by accident. When asked by one of his followers about whether he had purchased one, Brian said he hadn’t been allowed to.

“[The] Manager said “we would lose more than a lost sale if we sold it to you today,”” he replied in a Tweet.

Needless to say, most sane Zelda fans probably won’t be rushing to the Lone Star State to track down this Best Buy anytime soon. Gamers will still have to wait for October 4 to get their hands on The Wind Waker HD’s enticing Wii U bundle.

Correction: An earlier version of this article incorrectly stated that the The Wind Waker HD Wii U bundle would release on October 4. Although this is the release date for the stand-alone copy of the game, the console bundle is actually coming out on September 20. The author apologizes for this error.
