“I happen to know a song about the ancient hero. Do you care to hear it?” – Kass

“Kass’s Theme” is one of the most memorable pieces of music from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and many musicians have covered the Rito musician’s memorable theme.  This beautiful cover of “Kass’s Theme” from Breath of the Wild comes from String Player Gamer, and it features David Russell on piano. In this arrangement of the minstrel’s theme, String Player Gamer and Russell substitute the accordion heard in game with more traditional piano and violin.

Despite the change of instruments, String Player Gamer and Russell are successful at capturing the playful and adventurous mood that is present in “Kass’s Theme”. The piano provided by David Russell is a nice contrast to the violin used. The piano provides a steady foundation for the arrangement and get its own solo in the video. Be sure to listen all the way through, as Russell and String Player Gamer have some surprises hidden in this gem of an arrangement.
