GamescomGamescom is a European trade show that is held in Germany and it had its inaugural event last year in which many video game publishers attended. However, Nintendo was a no-show, but that does not appear to be the case this year. Nintendo has officially announced that they will be attending and they’ll have numerous games on display, including the much anticipated Skyward Sword.

I personally cannot imagine anything new being shown at this event in regards to Skyward Sword. I think we’ll see the exact same thing that was saw at E3 just two months back. So much was revealed at E3 and I really think that Nintendo is just using this opportunity to allow Europeans the chance to preview the game in its current state. Thus, I think it will be exact same demo, with the same items, in the same area, along with the same enemies. My guess is that if we do get anything new, it will not be in the form of screenshots, gameplay, or videos, but rather, perhaps some new tidbits in interviews that are likely to pop-up from the event. Nevertheless, I could be completely wrong and maybe there will be new gameplay footage and a new demo. Only time will tell but be sure to stay tuned right here at Zelda Dungeon for the latest.

Skyward Sword is set to release in early 2011 and here at Zelda Dungeon we will be providing a full Skyward Sword Walkthrough upon release, so be sure to bookmark that page! Stay tuned for all the latest news concerning the game.
