Skull Kid Joins Cadence of Hyrule in New Story DLC, Symphony of the Mask!

In this morning’s Nintendo Direct Mini, we were treated to the announcement of new DLC content coming to Cadence of Hyrule. There will be three new DLC packs, with one focusing specifically on fan favorite Zelda character, Skull Kid! Symphony of the Mask is the third DLC Pack planned for Cadence of Hyrule, alongside a Character Pack releasing today and a Melody Pack releasing later this year. This new story content will star Skull Kid, who will have the ability to switch powers based on the mask he wears. It’s only a matter of time until we know what Skull Kid will be up to as he explores “a brand new map” with “new songs and new story”, as Symphony of the Mask is planned for launch before the end of October!
Cadence of Hyrule is a rhythm-based game and a spinoff of the popular Crypt of the Necrodancer game. Cadence of Hyrule launched last summer and took the Zelda world by storm with its remixes of popular Zelda tracks, fun story, and instant re-playability. If you have not had a chance to play Cadence of Hyrule you can download it in Nintendo’s e-Shop, along with the Season Pass that will grant you access to all of the DLC packs as they release. Additionally, a complete release of the game with all DLC content is planned for October 23rd!
