Rumor – New Skyward Sword Characters In Super Smash Bros. Wii U

Super Smash Bros. is a great fighting series of video games that takes many different characters from the main Nintendo series and puts them all in one game to fight. The series started with a hand full of Nintendo characters and over the years has slowly been adding several new characters not only from Nintendo, but from other franchises as well.

With every new Super Smash Bros. game that is announced fans try and theorize about the roster and which new characters are going to be added. So it’s no surprise that after the announcement of a new game for the Wii U people start speculating what characters will be introduced into the series. When Brawl was released Zelda fans were excited to find out that character models from Twilight Princess were used. So will the next release have certain characters from Skyward Sword or even from other titles of the series? Keep reading after the jump to see a “rumored” list of new characters.

Did you have the same reaction as I did when you seen Ghirahim’s name in the list? I think he would be perfect for a Super Smash Bros. game, but with that I said, I would hate for him to replace Ganondorf. Hopefully with the capabilities of the Wii U and 3DS Nintendo will be able to add in a massive amount of new playable characters. Thinking about this it also makes me wonder which Link models will be added in. Will we be able to see Skyward Sword Link in HD? Will we see Link from Ocarina of Time, Spirit Tracks or possibly even an 8 bit Link? Do you think these rumors from 4chan are true?
