Nintendo has been very quiet with regards to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild recently. We know that The Champions’ Ballad DLC is still on track for release this year, but we have heard no announcements beyond that. However, Zelda fansite Link’s Hideaway has recently reported a rumor that a new Breath of the Wild bundle is on the way. According to Link’s Hideaway and its sources, this bundle, titled Breath of the Wild Explorers, will include the main game, a 2-sided map, and an explorer’s guide, which will contain “lore and learnings from the game.” Something important to note is that the bundle is rumored to be $59.99, which is the same price for the standalone game. As Link’s Hideaway notes though, it’s possible that this bundle is a Black Friday deal as it is rumored to come out this Thanksgiving, November 23.

This rumor comes from a product listing provided by “sources close to the matter.” The listing is for “Breath of the Wild Explrs NSW,” which has a different UPC and manufacturer part number than the original version Breath of the Wild. This description is part of the listing reported:

“After waking from a 100-year slumber, Link must explore the wild to regain his memories and save Hyrule. This bundle is perfect for first-time heroes; it contains the game, a two-sided map, and an Explorer?s Guide with lore and learnings from the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild game. Time to explore the guide, the map, and the world of Hyrule!”

Link’s Hideaway also speculates that the November 23rd release of the bundle will coincide with the release of The Champions’ Ballad DLC. These rumors have not been confirmed by Nintendo, but we will continue to provide updates as this story develops.

But what do you guys think? If you haven’t picked up Breath of the Wild yet, would you pick it up in this bundle? Let us know in the comments below!
