Rozen has quickly risen to be one of our favorite musical artists here at Zelda Informer. To refresh your memory, he’s responsible for masterpieces such as the recent released Fi’s Farewell and a chilling cover of Midna’s Lament. We’ve even had the pleasure of sitting down with him for an interview where he talks about the ups and downs of creating music and gives a bit of a look at what he wants to do in the future – including the new album titled KING OF LIGHT AND SHADOW releasing next month. He sent us a press release detailing the album itself and even a huge hint to a future album he wants to release later this year.

His new album next month will feature 4 compositions all based on music found in the final battle with Ganondorf from Twilight Princess. Here’s the full track list to give you an idea:

  1. Climbing the Tower (Hyrule’s Castle)
  2. King of Light and Shadow
  3. Puppet Zelda
  4. Dark Lord Ganondorf

What makes this particularly noteworthy is that this is the first time Rozen has done more than just a single song release. Even better, this isn’t the last we’ll see of Rozen covering Zelda music. He plans a much more ambitious projects for the fall, one of which will include music from A Link Between Worlds. You can find a teaser for the new album next month below, along with various links under which you can find Rozens other work. This album won’t be free, but you can purchase it from various vendors such as iTunes and Google Play. We’ll update you on pricing and the release when it hits next month.
