The artists of Atelier Hylia have opened the galleries of Hyrule once again to show off their Master Studies of famous artworks featuring Zelda characters. Just in time for Valentine’s Day too! If this is your first time hearing the term “Master Study,” here’s a quick definition: a Master Study in art is a re-creation of a successful work of art with the goal of learning from the original artist’s techniques, process, and other decisions made for their work. Atelier Hylia has completed other collections for your viewing pleasure, so if you’ve missed our previous coverage of the group’s works, you can check out our coverage of Volume I and The Blood Moon Tomes.

Atelier Hylia: Volume II is now available to download for free via Twitter. As of writing, it is not available on their main website, but I would imagine it would be soon. Volume I and The Blood Moon Tomes are available to read now and download from their website.

I’ve enjoyed covering this group’s work so very much, and as a fellow artist, I am constantly blown away by the dedication and love that is put into each piece. This collection features romantic artwork covering games like Ocarina of Time, A Link Between Worlds, Breath of the Wild, and more. Each piece is a visual feast for the eyes. Honestly I could gush about each one individually, but I urge you to check out the gallery for yourself.

Two of my favorites from this volume include Amanda’s take on The Farewell of Telemachus and Eucharis by Jacques-Louis David.

And Jenna’s take on La Belle Dame Sans Merci by Frank Bernard Dicksee. Each is incredibly beautiful.

These pieces and more await you in the galleries of Hyrule. Enjoy with a loved one or with love in your heart this Valentine’s Day. Be sure to download Atelier Hylia Volume Two here, and follow the group on Twitter.
