Rock Out to this Symphonic Metal Arrangement of the Palace Theme from Zelda II

Many of the early Zelda games relied on a small number of key songs to set the tone for their adventures. The Legend of Zelda, for example, used its iconic dungeon theme to create a tense and dark tone for its eight dungeons. Similarly, Zelda II: The Adventure of Link used the Palace theme to create a dramatic environment within the game’s side-scrolling dungeons.
While Zelda II has a complicated legacy within the franchise, the Palace theme remains a fan-favorite song for many, with versions of the song famously appeared in Super Smash Bros. Melee and subsequent games in the series. In fact, many fans who missed the 1989 title first heard the song during intense Super Smash Bros. battles.
Overall, this symphonic metal cover of Palace theme by MetalLegend64 is an excellent high-energy version of the classic song. This arrangement uses electric guitar as the foundation for the tune, which is used to drive the main melody and to perform a thrilling improvised solo near the end. The arrangement also uses an electric piano to fill out the song. The two instruments blend well together to create a wildly entertaining rendition of the Palace theme.
