Rewind Feature Coming to Switch’s NES Games This Month

Nintendo’s growing collection of 8-bit NES games is gaining a popular feature later this month: Rewind. Have you ever royally mess up playing Super Mario Bros.? Did you miss the first goomba or were you not happy with how your play-through was going? Redemption is now a button press away! Hold down the ZL and ZR buttons and you will be able to scroll through a timeline of snapshots from your gameplay. You’ll be able to choose where you want to start from.
The Rewind feature will be added to Switch Online NES app on July 17th. Two new games launch on the same day as well: Donkey Kong 3 and Wrecking Crew. There’s still no word on what fans are really craving for, which is a library of Super NES games. Hopefully soon!
