Ever get nostalgic and just want to play the original The Legend of Zelda, or perhaps Zelda II, yet find that it’s always the same experience? Then the NES emulator 3dSen may be just what you need.

Developed by Geod Studio, 3dSen emulates classic and modern homebrew NES games and gives them a 3D perspective, allowing players to pay games from whole new angles in real time, with dynamic skyboxes. The emulator runs a multitude of classic NES games, including both of its Zelda installments, and even supports save states. You may even discover hidden secrets Nintendo would rather you not — who knows?

What’s more, there’s also a virtual reality version of the emulator, though compatibility for either Zelda game has yet to be confirmed. Though don’t give up hope, as the list of compatible titles is “ever growing.” Each version is available for $9.99 USD on both itch.io and Steam. There’s also a 3D profile creator, for which you name your own price, available exclusive on itch.io.

Geod Studios has been sharing Adventure of Link clips to promote 3dSen recently. You can check out all the clips on their YouTube channel right here.

Have you used 3dSen before? What do you think? If you haven’t, will you now? Let us know in the comments below!
