Nintendo Europe recently included Cadence of Hyrule in an email promoting the company’s upcoming May releases, indicating that the game will be hitting shelves this month. In the email, Cadence of Hyrule is showcased alongside other titles slated to release in May, including Resident Evil and Assassin’s Creed III Remastered. Since the email does not include a concrete release date for the game and Nintendo’s website still lists it as due out “Spring 2019,” it’s unclear when exactly fans will be able to get their hands on it, but many expect it will be available before this year’s E3 conference.

As many of you know, Cadence of Hyrule is a spinoff of the rhythm-combat game Crypt of the NecroDancer being developed by Brace Yourself Games and published by Spike Chunsoft. It was revealed via a Nindie Direct back in March and came as a pleasant surprise to Zelda fans who had found out just a month earlier that a Link’s Awakening remake was coming to Switch.

Are you excited that Cadence of Hyrule is likely releasing this month? When do you think we’ll get a concrete release date? Let us know in the comments!
