Nintendo recently gave us tons of information on the new Amiibo figurines in a video, and finally announced the release date for these figures in North America and Europe.

It seems that, in Europe, the next wave of Amiibos will be split between two release dates; the first section, containing Rosalina, Bowser, Lucario, Toon Link, Sheik, and Ike will be released on January 23rd, and the second section, containing Shulk, Sonic, Megaman, King Dedede, and Meta Knight will come out on February 22nd.

North America has fared a little worse, with only a vague release date stating that they will be released sometime in February 2015.

The original wave of Amiibo figurines is still slated in both regions for the release date of Smash Bros. Wii U: in Europe, November 28th, and in North America, November 21st.

What do you think? Are you going to buy any of these? Personally, I’m trying to decide between Shulk and Toon Link. Shulk has been my main in Smash Bros. 3DS ever since it came out, but Toon Link is… well, Toon Link.
