Realistic Zelda Treasure Chest

User pkmnjunky7 from Instructables.com has created this fantastic treasure chest complete with Zelda sound effects. On Instructables.com you can find instructions and parts need to create one of your own! The set up looks pretty simple, but you’ll need access to a few tools if you’re going to make one of your own. The chest is made of plywood and houses lots of tiny pieces of electrical equipment. Visit the instruction page for more details on how you can create one of your own.

The chest is quite cool, and the video is entertaining. What would be really neat is if you could control the speed of the music by how quickly you opened the chest! The chest only has the one music track, but I’m sure you could fit the various sounds to match your liking. The final product looks very nice and it’d be a neat gift or project for any Zelda fan.
