Rayman Legends Jams Out

Rayman Legends is one of the most anticipated games for the Wii U, and for good reason. Ubisoft has upped the ante in every field, such as the graphics, the platforming, and the over-the-top setpieces. One part of the game that received a considerable amount of praise upon its debut was the musical level, in which Rayman sprinted through a level and fought enemies, each producing a musical note that became a rock cover of the theme from Origins.
It looks like that level was so well-received that Ubisoft has decided to include a different “musical level” at the end of each world. What’s surprising about this is that the levels will not only use original themes, but also licensed songs. One of these-which you can see in the video above- is Ram Jam’s famous Black Betty. To fit with the series’ wacky vibe, the lyrics are replaced with gibberish, though the classic “Bam-ba-lam” remains intact. Does this make the game even more exciting, or is Ubisoft milking the music level for all it’s worth? You decide.
