Princess Zelda Celebrated in the Streets of Naples
Posted on April 29 2023 by David Lasby
As part of the festivities surrounding COMICON Naples 2023, three special aediculas have been created honoring Princess Zelda. These small shrines were created by the street artists “Zeal Off” and “They Live,” drawing on both a modern cultural tradition of street art and the classical architecture and religious tradition of aediculas, dating back to ancient Rome.
The Princess Zelda aediculas will be on display from April 28th to May 1st in the Historical Center districts and in Fuorigrotta, Rione Sanità. These displays join a worldwide celebration of 2023’s most anticipated game release, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
