Pre-orders Now Open for Zelda Fan Zine “Seal the Darkness”

Last month, cover art for Seal the Darkness, a Zelda-based fan zine, was released on Twitter in anticipation of the option to pre-order that was soon to come. Well, pre-orders have opened and now’s your chance to grab your own copy of Seal the Darkness. Seal the Darkness is a fanzine hosted by Linktober that contains creations from 65 contributors, with all of the proceeds going to the Rainforest Trust charity. Now that the pre-orders are officially available, you have until September 22, 2021 to get your order in. There are four different bundles to choose from and range between $15.00USD and $55.00USD. The Traveler’s Armory bundle, priced at $15.00USD is a fully digital bundle that contains the zine, MP3 download, and the “Sword Showdown” pdf. The second available bundle is the Knight’s Armory, at $25.00USD. This bundle includes everything from the first bundle, but also includes a physical copy of the zine and the stretch goal incentives (2-sided bookmark and vinyl die-cut sticker). The last two bundles, priced at $40.00USD and $55.00USD, contain numerous items, like prints, stickers, and a charm. Check out the bundles here.

It’s important to note that due to recent VAT changes, many of the zine bundles are not available for purchase if you live in the UK or EU. However, you are still able to purchase the Traveler’s Armory bundle due to it being fully digital. The website suggests a possibility that extra bundles may eventually be available for purchase on Etsy, but that is to be determined. Also, due to USPS restrictions, there are a number of restricted countries that will not be able to receive physical incentives.

Make sure to get your pre-orders in soon, as the window is closing fast. Orders are estimated to arrive in late 2021 for digital bundles and early 2022 for physical bundles. Updates will also be available at @linktoberzine.
