Power A, one of the most prominent manufacturers of video game peripherals, is at it again–this time adding the Zelda Blood Moon Switch controller to its already impressive product line. The American company is set to release the controller August 15, with pre-orders now available on Amazon for a list price of $54.99 (USD).

In addition to the incredible artwork comprising the theme of the controller, the product offers the following features:

  • Wireless Controller with Bluetooth 5.0 Technology + rechargeable lithium-ion battery: up to 30 hours per charge
  • Two mappable Advanced Gaming Buttons + Embedded anti-friction Rings for smooth thumbstick control
  • Superior ergonomics for hours of comfortable gaming + classic intuitive Nintendo button layout
  • Low battery warning LED indicator + Includes 10ft (3M) USB-C charge cable

Power A also offers a two-year limited warranty, a nice bump to the standard coverage of this officially licensed Nintendo product.

Unfortunately, the controller does not offer amiibo functionality, nor does it feature HD rumble. The lack of these features may discourage some buyers despite the gorgeous art design. Games within The Legend of Zelda and Hyrule Warriors franchises incorporate amiibo and rumble features frequently, such as unlocking highly prized armor sets in Breath of the Wild or helpful loot in Age of Calamity. Additionally, the new Skyward Sword HD allows convenient fast-travel with the Zelda & Loftwing amiibo. Still, for serious collectors, it will be challenging to pass up the Zelda Blood Moon controller from Power A.
