Here’s an interesting piece of news for all our Pokémon fans out there; the ‘Wild Area’ within the upcoming titles Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield will reportedly be the size of two Breath of the Wild regions! During a hands-on session with the games, Metro spoke to a representative of the Pokémon Company who estimated that the Wild Area was about the size of two separate regions from the massive Zelda game.
The Wild Area is a newly featured location that connects Towns in Pokémon Sword & Shield, and will contain freely roaming Pokémon. It’s one point of the game that has intrigued Pokémon fans. Despite being quite large, available information hasn’t really told us much in terms of what it will contain; moreso than just size, the Wild Area needs to have a lot to offer with all that space.
Are you excited about this comparison? What else do you hope to see in the Wild Area? Sound off in the comments below!
