As we patiently wait for the official date announcement of this Summer’s Nintendo Direct, Nintendo of America officially revealed the 2024 schedule for the Play Nintendo Tour, which will run from June 13th until September 2nd, spanning across nine different US cities. The event, which is an off-shoot of their Play Nintendo website, will feature loads of activities for families to interact with. This includes the following events for guests:

  • Photo-op opportunities with Princess Peach, Pikachu, Tom Nook, Isabelle, and a “frightful” one for Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD.
  • Playable Nintendo Switch demos which includes Princess Peach: Showtime!, Super Mario Bros. Wonder, Mario vs. Donkey Kong, Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition (starting July 18), Nintendo Switch SportsKirby and the Forgotten LandPikmin 4, and Just Dance 2024.
  • A playable version of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe that features the DLC tracks from the game’s Booster Course Pass.
  • Activities usually found on the Play Nintendo website, such as personality quizzes, memory matching games, and jumbo puzzles. Guests will even able to play on a claw machine for a chance to get some Nintendo-themed items.

Anybody who attends will receive a Play Nintendo Passport, which can be filled with stickers to redeem against a Play Nintendo bracelet, coloring pages, and a 14-day trial code for Nintendo Switch Online. Guests who check in to their Nintendo Account while at the event will also be able to obtain 100 My Nintendo Platinum Points and a Super Mario-themed gift item (while stocks last). There will also be a section dedicated to those who want to find out more about available Nintendo Switch systems, as well as information on the games featured throughout the tour.

The Play Nintendo Tour will be swinging by the following US cities (venue details provided in the links below):
