It is time, friends, to once again fire up your image-manipulation software in the weekly ZI Photoshop contest!

With Nintendo’s big news this week about venturing into the mobile gaming market, we want you creative fans to whip up some possible pitches for a Zelda mobile game. But before we get to this week’s fun, we’ll take a look at last week’s contest: Zelda Wins February.

Last Week’s Contest

Fans were asked to help celebrate Majora’s Mask 3D‘s best-selling victory over other releases in the month of February.

Challenge Mode

Kyle Ian Thomas wins his second challenge mode in a row, as he shows Link and Zelda using February’s other major releases for a bit of target practice. Will he go for three? Or will another step up to accept the challenge?

This Week’s Contest: Zelda: The Mobile Game

Satoru Iwata announced earlier this week that Nintendo has plans to include their IP’s on smart devices in the future. Certain specifics were not revealed, but there is a possibility that Nintendo will one day announce some kind of Zelda software on mobile platforms.

Before Nintendo gets the chance to announce such a thing, we want you to turn on the creativity and pitch to us some possibilities for a Zelda mobile game. Entries can feature the tried and true addicting gameplay of Angry Birds or Candy Crush Saga, or perhaps showcase an idea for a truly epic Zelda experience on a smart device.

Whatever the ‘shop, we know you guys and gals have what it takes to create a Zelda mobile game worthy of several thousand micro-transaction dollars.

We’ve included some images in our gallery to get the juices flowing; feel free to use them or anything else in the internet to create your pitch.

Deadline: Submit entries no later than next Wednesday at midnight: 11:59 p.m. PST on March 25. Entries submitted after this Deadline will not be considered.

Challenge Mode

For those that want to test their skills with something more challenging, we have a few Challenge Rules for you to follow:

1. Your entry must only use images provided in our gallery.

2. You must include a Loftwing, and it must be appropriately angry.

If you think you’re up to the challenge, include the phrase Challenge Accepted with your submission. Remember, Challenge Mode submissions follow the same rules and guidelines of the base Photoshop Contest in addition to the Challenge Rules.

Good luck!
