The weekend has arrived, ladies and gentlemen. This of course means that the Zelda Informer Photoshop Contest is ready to go. And with the site’s Photoshop Contest page finally in working order again, I say we get the new contest moving right away. This week’s contest is inspired by the newly announced Super Mario Odyssey, a game that lets Nintendo’s famous plumber run around seemingly in the real world. Let’s get started, as well as check out the winners of last week’s contest: Breath of the Wild Hype Train.

This Week’s Contest: The Legend of Zelda Odyssey

The Nintendo Switch and The Breath of the Wild surely took center stage during the latest Nintendo Direct, but one game that also made a notable splash was Super Mario Odyssey. The newest Mario title will let our favorite plumber explore various locales, including one particularly peculiar location. Mario will take to the streets in Odyssey, climbing buildings in a metropolitan area and rubbing shoulders with realistically proportioned human beings. This aspect of the game will serve as the inspiration for the contest this week.

The contest this week is to ‘shop a Zelda character into the downtown area of a major real-world city. There are plenty of large cities in the United States alone, from New York City to Los Angeles. But there are just as many around the world that would perfect for a Zelda character to explore. We’ve got some images in the gallery below to get you started, but feel free to use anything you find on the internet for your entry.

General Rules: Submit your entries in the comments section below.

  • To save images from the gallery, right click the image in the gallery (without opening the image in lightbox) and select open image in new tab. Right click and save!
