Photoshop Contest: Beedle’s World Tour

Happy Saturday, all you people. I’m going to stop watching these two Cleverbots chat for a second to bring you this week’s Photoshop Contest. One of the more recent talking points around Breath of the Wild is the potential return of a certain shopkeeper character. That character just so happens to be Beedle, the lovable merchant from The Wind Waker and Skyward Sword. Some believe that the merchant will be travelling the great plains of Hyrule in the new game, so it seemed appropriate to make Beedle a world traveler in this week’s contest. You decide where Beedle will go and what he will see.

Last Week’s Contest: 2016 Year in Review

We were hoping to see some look-backs at 2016 for last week’s contest, but unfortunately we received no entries. I guess everyone just wants to forget that last year even happened.

This Week’s Contest: Beedle’s World Tour

Nintendo recently released a brand new Breath of the Wild screenshot featuring the notorious horse-shaped tent. But what seems to have caught the eye of fans is the potential appearance of our favorite shopkeeper from The Wind Waker. Yes, Beedle the goofy merchant may just be travelling around in the upcoming Zelda game.

The contest this week is to show Beedle travelling in an unusual location. You can show him in the darkest corners of Hyrule, in some other game series, or even in some real-world location. Whatever you decide, feel free to use the images in the gallery below and anything else you find on the net.

General Rules: Submit your entries in the comments section below.

  • To save images from the gallery, right click the image in the gallery (without opening the image in lightbox) and select open image in new tab. Go up to the address bar and delete __small from the URL. Hit enter, right click, and save!
  • Photoshop is not required to enter the contest. Any image manipulation software can be used to create your entry.
  • Some hand-drawn fan art is okay, but your entry must include some image manipulation to be considered.
  • If you use another fan’s original assets or likeness, please try to give them credit.
  • Please refrain from using offensive material (racial, sexual, overuse of offensive language, etc.) We want to make the contest fun and accessible for fans of all ages.
  • Everyone is entitled to their own opinion at Zelda Informer. In fact, we encourage discussion based on those opinions. However, please do not insult other fans’ work. What may be funny to one person may not hold true for another…and that’s OK.
  • Have fun and be creative!

Deadline: Submit entries no later than Thursday at midnight: 11:59 p.m. PST on January 5. Entries submitted after this Deadline will not be considered.
