Photoshop Content: Zelda Vs. For Honor

Happy Saturday, all my favorite people. It is time once again for me to give the charge and start up another Zelda Informer Photoshop Contest. I, like so many gamers, have been swept up in the release of For Honor this week. Ubisoft’s medieval action game has added layers of complexity to the hand-to-hand combat that we’ve gotten used to out of video games. The gameplay is actually so good, that I think the characters of the Zelda series could get a little defensive. I wonder who would win if it came down to a real fight between these two games.

Last Week’s Contest: Give Peatrice a Valentine’s Date

We found collection of suitors for Skyward Sword‘s Peatrice just in time for last week‘s Valentine’s Day holiday.

A great Valentine’s Day date just couldn’t be complete without flowers and chocolate. This is why last week’s Challenge Mode asked contestants to include some Deku Flowers and a packet of Toblerone in their entries. Artist BlueAngal69 accepted the challenge and played matchmaker between Peatrice and Ghirahim. Ever the ladies’ man, Ghirahim courted the Skyloftian girl with a crown of Deku Flowers, a handful of chocolaty goodness, and plenty of sweet musings. There’s no doubt that Peatrice was blown away by this once-in-a-lifetime date. Great job to our winner!

This Week’s Contest: Zelda Vs. For Honor

For Honor officially released earlier this week, promising players the chance to engage in an innovative system of weapon-based combat that is unlike anything we’ve seen before. And it’s actually really fun. With its new perspective on combat, I can definitely see For Honor kicking off a popular new game series. But we still know that The Legend of Zelda is the granddaddy of medieval action games, so Ubisoft’s new title still has some competition if it wants to be the top dog.

The contest this week is show a fight between Zelda characters and For Honor characters. This fight can feature a one-on-one bout, a two-on-two melee, or battle with as many combatants as you so choose. There are some images in our gallery to get you started, but feel free to use anything on the internet to create your entry.
