Ocarina of Time Fan Album “Hero of Time” Will Be Restocked Later This Year

Back in 2017, game collectible manufacturer iam8bit, along with the Materia Collective, released an hour-long arrangement album based on Ocarina of Time called Hero of Time. At the time of its release, this officially licensed two-vinyl LP collection was perfect for fans of Koji Kondo’s iconic score, but it has unfortunately been sold out for some time. Luckily, however, Zelda fans now have another chance to pick up this impressive fan album, as online retailer Zavvi is restocking Hero of Time later this year.
Zavvi is currently taking pre-orders for their remaining stock of Hero of Time, with a scheduled release of October 30th. If you want to add it to your Zelda collection, the album will currently run you £39.99 (approximately $50 USD). This release is not a re-print or re-issue of the album; rather, Zavvi will be selling additional stock recently acquired from their supplier.
Recorded by the 64-player Slovak National Symphony Orchestra, this album was arranged and composed by Eric Buchholz. Diehard fans of the Zelda series may be familiar with Buchholz’s work for The Legend of Zelda: 25th Anniversary Symphony, the Symphony of the Goddesses concert tour, and Zelda Reorchestrated. All the album artwork for Hero of Time (which you can see in the gallery below) was designed by Ryan Brinkerhoff, who has created artwork based on other properties like Star Wars and Super Mario.
