Ocarina of Time 3D New Artwork, Screenshots

The official Japanese Website for Ocarina of Time 3D has been updated and there are several noteworthy goodies to be found. The first of which is a brand new piece of artwork of Link and his slingshot. You can see the image pictured to the left and it really details the new artwork style of Ocarina of Time 3D. During my demo with Nintendo of America representatives last Monday, we talked a bit about the graphical upgrades with Ocarina of Time 3D. One of the representatives specifically stated to me that the new art style of the game was made to resemble that of the original artwork from Ocarina of Time.

Just a few weeks back, Nintendo of Europe had released a whole bunch of official artwork from the original Ocarina of Time. These images were in super high resolutions and were also touched up a bit for the 3D remake. We have since added all of these artwork images to our image gallery. We’ve also steadily been adding new screenshots to our image gallery, and we’ve picked up a few more from the Japanese website.

One of the new screenshots in particular is of the new giant gossip stone. It has a large Sheikah symbol on it and its symbol is a bright lime green color. These statues are part of the brand new Visions mode, which allow you to view 5-10 second hints on various parts of the game. For full details, be sure to check out our Ocarina of Time 3D: Visions post. This particular stone is found right near Link’s treehouse in Kokiri Forest. However, I’ve recently read that another stone will be found inside of the Temple of Time. It’s unclear as to whether they will just be in these two locations or all throughout Hyrule.

Ocarina of Time 3D is set for a June 19th release here in the US and we’ll be providing more Ocarina of Time content as it comes in. We still have a few more goodies lined up from my hands on demo of the game, so be sure to stay tuned!
