The folks from Conservative New Media got a chance to look at Ocarina of Time 3D during the GDC event this past week and with that, we have some breaking news. David Young, a representative of Nintendo of America revealed that when Ocarina of Time 3D releases for the Nintendo 3DS, it will include the Master Quest version that was previously only available for the Nintendo Gamecube.

This is huge news and I’m surprised this information wasn’t made available on a grander stage. Reason being is that while Ocarina of Time was an amazing game, not nearly as many people got to experience the Master Quest version. I’m sure there are plenty of Zelda fans who aren’t sure if they want to shell out money for a remake of Ocarina of Time, but if they knew there was the Master Quest included, this might be the extra incentive to go out and get the game upon its release. Ocarina of Time 3D is set to ship in June of this year.

Have you played Master Quest before? Does the inclusion of Master Quest bring more hype to this remake? Are you planning on getting Ocarina of Time 3D? Post your thoughts in the comments below.
