Ocarina of Time 3D: Game Trailers Video Review

The folks at GameTrailers have posted a new video review of Ocarina of Time 3D covering the many new additions and updates. They display many of the game’s updated cinematics, while also giving a detailed analysis of the gameplay, the changes from the original version, and the new additions including Master Quest and Boss Challenge mode.

We have covered a few reviews already from several different sources, all of them overwhelmingly positive.  Many of the new innovations have been previously covered so nothing truly new was brought to the table. However it is very convenient to have a gameplay video displaying the new capabilities along with the description. Their coverage of the many touchscreen applications is very informative and would easily help out any who have not yet had the chance to play the game and see them in use.

Gametrailers final ratings for each category  were,
Story: 8.3
Design: 9.4
Gameplay: 9.3
Presentation: 8.5
Giving it a final overall score of 9.2

I thought this was an excellent review; it fully covered the updated gameplay while also showing off the capabilities of the 3DS. I completely agree with the final comment, Whether you are new to the series or a returning veteran, Ocarina stands the test of time. It’s a great showcase of the system’s 3D capabilities and a definite must own for a starved library.
