hyrule-warriors-costumesAs Japan enjoys the gift that is Hyrule Warriors and other countries wait patiently for their turn to play, Nintendo has been working in the background to boost the experience for Hyrule Warriors. Nintendo News recently reported that Nintendo will be launching a program on September 26th (United States release date) for DLC to be distributed for free to people who buy the game. Nintendo has made it so that people who buy the game, starting September 26th, will receive access to a free download code that gives players the ability to select music to add to their Hyrule Warriors experience, the code also will give players a new game mode as well as a new weapon.

Also, Nintendo Direct previously mentioned that consumers who pre-order the game at select retailers will receive free DLC for a set of alternate in-game costumes for Link and Zelda. Additionally, if you were to register your copy of the game with Club Nintendo, you’ll receive DLC in the form of alternate Ganondorf costumes. Nintendo says however, that all of these costumes will be available for purchase from the Nintendo eShop in the future; further timing and pricing details to be announced.

It seems that Nintendo is planning to support Hyrule Warriors for the foreseeable future with plenty of DLC available to its players.
