Nintendo of Japan Teases Majora’s Mask Remake with New Artwork

With all the talk of Hyrule Warriors and Zelda U, the thought of a Majora’s Mask remake has slipped the minds of many of us. However, Club Nintendo of Japan sent out a new wallpaper that may be teasing a Majora’s Mask remake.

NeoGAF user Eddz posted that he had received an email from Club Nintendo Japan featuring a downloadable version of the wallpaper above. Obviously, the Majora’s Mask on Link’s head is the first thing that catches the eye. The wallpaper was made for the Japanese celebration of Hanabi, which is their annual fireworks festival. Since the festival is not known to feature many masks, many believe that this artwork may be the biggest hint from Nintendo yet that we are getting a Majora’s Mask remake. I definitely think a remake is going to happen, as it would fill the Zelda gap on the 3DS for 2014-15.
