In their third Breath of the Wild-themed video of the year, Nintendo Minute celebrates the third anniversary of the 2017 title with another challenge. To see whether running or riding is a faster mode of transportation, Kit and Krysta were each timed based on how long it took to get from Foothill Stable to Woodland Stable.

Kit, who ran in a relatively straight line along the southern base of Death Mountain clocked in at 3:37. Krysta, in contrast, rode along the curved path between the two stables and had a time of 4:31. Although they faced obstacles such as stamina and enemy encounters, I’m not surprised that running the “shortcut” was faster than riding along the given path. The outcome only speaks to one of the most celebrated aspects of Breath of the Wild, the freedom it allows players to indulge.

How do you prefer to travel in Breath of the Wild? Do you go faster to get things done or slower to enjoy the scenery? Let us know in the comments below!
