We’re now only one month away from the release of Link’s Awakening on Switch, and Nintendo has officially put the hype train into high gear. For the past several weeks, Nintendo’s various Twitter accounts have been sharing bite-sized clips of the latest Zelda adventure. Showcasing areas and characters that we didn’t get to see in trailers, these gameplay clips will definitely fuel your appetite for the release of the full game.
To get us all in the mood for Link’s Awakening‘s release, Nintendo has been introducing various aspects of the game on social media. Some of these posts show off pieces of Link’s arsenal, such as the Hookshot…
これは「フックショット」。遠くにつきさして、ビヨーンと移動!爽快じゃのう。

…and Roc’s Feather.
In The Legend of #Zelda: Link's Awakening, there is an item that will come in handy as you explore the island. You can jump and flip around using the Roc's Feather! It will even let you jump over open holes. pic.twitter.com/vKMXs7BSm9

We also caught glimpses of some of Link’s Awakening‘s monsters, like the Mask-Mimic…
うるりらじいさんじゃ。こやつは「ヘイホー」。リンクの動きをマネする、少し変わった魔物じゃ。顔には固いお面を付けていて、正面からの攻撃は効かんぞ。倒すには工夫が必要じゃな。 #夢をみる島 pic.twitter.com/x8h1CpYKPK

You can also check out clips featuring a few areas seen in the E3 demo, such as Toronbo Shores, the Mysterious Woods, and Tail Cave.
Many Link’s Awakening fans will already be familiar with a lot of this content, but it sure is cool to see these areas and sequences depicted in the remake’s new art style. Are you excited for Link’s Awakening? Let us know in the comments below!
