Nintendo Attending Tokyo Game Show 2023, But Not in Public Area
Posted on July 06 2023 by Kora Burton

This year’s Tokyo Game Show will be running from Thursday, September 21st to Sunday, September 24th, 2023, with companies like Bandai Namco, Capcom, Koei Tecmo, Konami, and Square Enix currently planning to attend in the General Exhibition Area and other public settings. While Nintendo will also be at the event, they will only be in attendance in the Business Meeting Area, according to Tokyo Game Show’s exhibitor list. If Nintendo has something new up their sleeve that they’re willing to share, it seems the general public won’t be able to sneak a peek, at least not during the show.
As of July 4th, the Tokyo Game Show will be hosting 646 exhibitors with over 2600 booths. Organized by the Computer Entertainment Supplier’s Association (CESA), this year’s event will be held at its full scale for the first time in four years, with pandemic restrictions limiting the event during the last few years. According to the CESA’s recent press release, event organizers expect a turnout of 200,000 visitors.
