Here’s a Soothing Acoustic Cover of Outset Island’s Theme

YouTube musicians, The Team Players, have blown us away more than a few times already with their amazing guitar compositions. Earlier this week, the duo brought joy to our ears yet again with a beautiful acoustic rendition of Outset Island’s theme from The Wind Waker. The tune fits right at home in the musicians’ talented fingers, as the guitars perfectly compliment the song’s soothing, laid-back sound.

While this new cover may sound more relaxed than, say, the jazzy Dragon Roost Island theme, the duo still captures the magical nature of the classic Zelda tune. In fact, this is a cover I could probably listen to endlessly for hours. The Team Players mentioned in the comments of the video that they uploaded this cover about an hour before they heard about Satoru Iwata’s tragic passing. In this way, the song acts as a beautiful send-off for Nintendo’s president.
