New Nintendo 3DS and 3DS XL Coming out in Australia on November 21st

You’re reading that right: Australia (not Europe) is getting the New Nintendo 3DS this year on November 21st. The regular version with changeable face-plates will be priced at $219.95 AUD, while the XL version chimes in at $249.95 AUD. The customizable backgrounds and themes will also being going on sale later this year, though prices weren’t announced. There is an A Link Between Worlds theme among them bunch, so we Zelda fans are getting a little something.

This was announced through Australia’s first ever exclusive Nintendo Direct. Why release it there and nowhere else? I honestly don’t know, but if they weren’t region locked I would certainly be importing one myself.
