New Gameplay Footage of Breath of the Wild’s Master Trials Showcased

Nintendo has just released details pertaining to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild‘s new DLC, including new screenshots, new gameplay footage, and the release of a new enemy exclusive to Hard Mode (named “Master Mode”). The meat of the reveal focused on the titular Master Trials, which tasks the player to survive with no armor and no weapons in a series of challenges similar to Twilight Princess’s Cave of Ordeals or The Wind Waker’s Savage Labyrinth. Your goal is to take on hordes of enemies using whatever means you can, which will likely lead to some crazy and brilliant strategies. The new trials have been rumored to return the Master Sword to its full power, making it a powerful weapon with 60 damage.
