New Entry in the Zelda Manga is Most Likely to be Centered Around Twilight Princess

It was recently announced that the Zelda manga would be receiving a new entry in the series, but an important detail was left out to keep the fans wondering: what Zelda game will the manga be written about? Shortly after the announcement, we at Zelda Informer released a new ZI votes to see what game the fans would like to see adapted into the manga, and the majority decided it should be Twilight Princess. If you were one of the many fans who voted Twilight Princess, then you’re in luck; it appears that this is the game that the manga will be set in.

This assumption is based on a comparison between the teaser image released with the announcement and some art from the scrapped Twilight Princess manga that was shown in 2014. The Link in the Twilight Princess manga art and the Link silhouette in the new manga teaser bear a striking resemblance that is hard to ignore. Here are the two images so you can compare for yourself.

As you can see, the two Links are presented in a very similar style; note the way the hats are drawn. It’s also possible that the silhouette of the teaser image could simply be paying homage to the Twilight Princess manga concept art, since we won’t know for sure what game the new Zelda manga will be about until we receive an official announcement.
