New English Character Trailers for Hyrule Warriors

Yesterday Nintendo released several new English trailers for Hyrule Warriors that show off the play styles for Link, Zelda, Impa, and Lana. There are actually two for Link: one in which he uses a Hylian Sword and another in which he uses the Magic Rod.

Each video starts off showing the character’s name, title, and weapon before diving into the action. Link is “The Hero”, Impa is “Hyrulean Captain”, Lana is “The White Sorceress”, and Zelda…is “Princess of Hyrule”. This is at odds with what was said in a previous interview in which it was stated that Zelda would finally be a fully-fledged queen. Hopefully the trailer only refers to her as a princess for the name recognition and she will become a queen as the story progresses.

Title discrepancies aside, the gameplay looks great and each character seems to have a fairly unique move set. A few eagle-eyed viewers may even be able to name some of the redesigned moves from previous games used by Zelda and Link.
