New Characters Will Be in the New Super Smash Bros.

Previously, we posted some news that Sakurai had stated that he did not want to continue adding excessive characters every time a new Smash Bros. game came out, instead setting his goal as wanting to “narrow it down.” However, a new quote from Sakurai’s opening speech at the CDEC Developers Conference confirms that there will be new characters headed our way in the new Smash.

“It’s fun making new skills for new characters.”

Short, sweet, and to the point, it was unfortunately the only piece of Smash goodness to come out of the speech. However, I for one am glad that we know for sure we can expect some new characters coming our way.
