All you avid Zelda collectors out there might have something exciting waiting for you at your local Walmart store. In what seems to have gone under the radar until just recently, toy company and frequent Nintendo licenser Jakks Pacific has released new Link and Zelda action figures, based on the characters’ appearances in Breath of the Wild. Eagle-eyed Zelda fans, including Zelda Dungeon’s own Heather Beard, have spotted these new figures at Walmart stores in North America over the past few weeks.

The new Breath of the Wild Link figure comes with a Soldier’s Broadsword, while the Breath of the Wild Zelda figure comes with a Sheikah Slate. Each figure is available for $10.28 USD in-store at Walmart.

For now, the figures are not available on Walmart’s online storefront. It is unknown if the figures are available at other stores or if they are exclusive to Walmart.

Jakks Pacific released a different Breath of the Wild Link figure back in 2017, as well as an updated version sporting a Hylian Hood in 2021. This previous figure drew criticism for Link’s facial expression, something that seems to have been addressed with the new figure. Link is also now joined by his Breath of the Wild counterpart Princess Zelda, whose Ocarina of Time iteration was previously the basis for a Jakks action figure.

Have you seen these figures out in the wild at Walmart or elsewhere? Will you be adding them to your collection? Let us know in the comments!
