Monday Comic Corner – Photo Finished

I’m not exactly sure why Tingle is in The Legend of Zelda. He’s strange, that’s for sure, and for this, as far as NPCs go in video games he’s quite the famous character. Since appearing in Majora’s Mask he’s made a few other appearances, notably in The Wind Waker, where he was imprisoned for being a troublemaker. He’s a bit more useful in The Wind Waker, but still definitely his odd self.

Since The Wind Waker HD’s release, Tingle is again topical, so Awkward Zombie did a comic on just that. Hit the jump to read!

 

Awkward Zombie comics always hit that special kind of funny; it’s a kind of humor you didn’t know you had inside you, but it’s very real. I think the combination of artwork, combined with the topics Katie pokes fun at mesh together just perfectly.

What I love about this comic is going back to read it again, thinking about Tingle in the context of the last panel. You can see his creepy stare in the second panel that you probably rushed over the first time around, and that makes it all the funnier.
