2015 has been a whirlwind of emotions for Zelda fans – from the exciting Tri Force Heroes reveal, to the disheartening news of Zelda U being delayed. Yet none of us can argue that, whatever happens, The Legend of Zelda will always be one of the most engaging and exciting video game franchises out there.
Zelda games are constantly receiving rankings in charts and best sellers lists internationally, and Majora’s Mask 3D is certainly no different, as it has secured third place in the Top 100 Best Selling Games list in Japan for the first half of 2015, narrowly losing to Yo-Kai Watch 2: Shin Uchi on 3DS, and Dragon Quest Heroes on PS3. Released back in February, the Nintendo 64 remake has rapidly become a must have for any 3DS owner’s collection, so this news definitely comes as no surprise. Although the game missed out on obtaining the top spot by a fraction, third place is still fantastic and is well-deserved for one of the most critically acclaimed titles of all time.
So, a question for you Zelda fans: what do you love about Majora’s Mask 3D? Or maybe you didn’t like it as much as the original, if it all. Why? As usual, leave your comments below.
