Mellow Out With This “Ballad of the Wind Fish” Electro Cover

Being whisked away to a mysterious tropical paradise may sound like a great time, but for Link in Link’s Awakening, such an adventure wasn’t really so great. His journey across the surreal Koholint Island was nothing short of a challenging and epic quest. An epic quest, mind you, that also gave us an amazing soundtrack. Take the “Ballad of the Wind Fish” for instance, which remains a highlight of Link’s Awakening‘s iconic score.
This Electro cover of “Ballad of the Wind Fish” from Link’s Awakening comes to us from remix artist Mewmore. The musician makes the song now sound more like a smooth jazz, electro song you would normally hear in the early 90’s. Mewmore has also worked on covers inspired by other Zelda games like Majora’s Mask, A Link to the Past, A Link Between Worlds, and Breath of the Wild. The remixer has also worked on covers inspired by Pokemon, Persona, Yakuza, and Castlevania.
