Mega Man Zero Series Developer Shows Interest in Making a New Zelda II: The Adventure of Link for the Modern Era

Zelda II: The Adventure of Link nowadays is considered less of the black sheep of the Zelda family, and more of the dark horse. Its style was a complete departure from what the first game brought. Some people enjoyed it, while others harped on its new overhauled style.
Takuya Aizu, the CEO of Inti Creates, sounds like he’s in the former according to a recent interview from issue #34 of Nintendo Force. During the interview, Aizu was asked, if he could make a game from any Nintendo franchise, what would it be and why. This was his response:
Just one?! Well, I would love to make a new The Adventure of Link for the modern era!
