In this week’s collection video we take a look at the Japanese version of the Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. Originally known as Triforce of the Gods, this was the first Zelda title released for the Super Famicom, or as it was known in the United States, the Super Nintendo. The game cartridge looks somewhat like a Super Nintendo game, while the manual was almost identical to its US counterpart.

Copies of the game can still be found on auction sites today. While they aren’t very common here in the United States, you will still find them from time to time, albeit for much higher prices than they are found in Japan. On Japanese auction sites, there are complete versions of the game that can be found for under 2,000 yen, or roughly $25. Go ahead and make the jump to check out the collection video.
