Man At Arms Creates the Hylian Shield

Popular fan weapons producer Man At Arms has uploaded their latest video this time showing off their creation of a reproduction Hylian Shield from Legend of Zelda series. The group is well known for producing other Zelda items in the past such as the Master Sword and Fierce Deity sword. In the video they go over each and every step in their process from early designs to forging the main body from steel to all the little details made from amber.

I love how these guy take requests from fans on their next project. They definitely go all out to make a perfect recreation every time. And the strange part is how they manage to make a functioning replica of something that most would not assume could be functional. I really wish they covered the A Link To The Past‘s Master Sword some more. That one was always my favorite design and it’s little more than an afterthought in this video.
