The official box artwork for Majora’s Mask 3D’s Japanese release has been revealed. Set to arrive on February 14th in Japan, the box-art is nearly identical to that of other regions, with the sole difference being the rating on the cover. Make the jump to check out the Box Art.
As you can see from the image, the box art features one of the first new pieces of artwork released for the game, depicting Link among a wide variety of characters from the game, from Skull kid to Deku Scrub Link and the Happy Mask Salesman. Nintendo had a similar approach with the Wind Waker HD, which also featured a range of characters on the Box Art. Perhaps this style will become a trend in Zelda remake box arts to come. Strangely, the moon that is depicted in the box-artwork is an image from the original version of the game, not the remake.
