M. Productions Theory: Hyrule’s Apocalypse?

M. Productions, a YouTube theory and news discussion channel, has collaborated with game theorist Dr. Wily to gather information on a rather mysterious aspect of Skyward Sword’s story. The Wii title had many little hints pointing toward the existence of a civilization predating Skyloft and Demise. What happened to them, and what is their connection to the world we have seen in the main series?

I love this theory, because it is mostly canonical fact. Skyward Sword had a whole lot of evidence of advanced life prior to the events of the game, if Lanayru Desert is any indication, but seeing all the evidence laid out before you really puts things in perspective. I really want to start theorizing about these people from the past, who lived so differently than the people all across this timeline of games.
