Earlier this month, German musician Jokabi released a new track remixing the iconic “Song of Storms” in his signature, low fidelity style. This teaser track was excellent and served as the perfect appetizer to a new, full-length collection of lofi Nintendo remixes. The wait is finally over, as Chilltendo II has been released today through video game record label GameChops.

Chilltendo II is Jokabi’s follow-up to his previous album Chilltendo. Similarly to its predecessor, Chilltendo contains numerous iconic Zelda tunes along with a few hidden gems. Most Zelda fans are sure to recognize the aforementioned “Song of Storms,” “Lost Woods,” and “Kaepora Gaebora.” Hailing from Ocarina of Time, these tracks are among the catchiest in the series. Twilight Princess is also represented with a pair of tracks, but “Ordon Village” and “Kakariko Is Saved” are deeper cuts than one might expect. Regardless of their status or popularity, all of these songs are perfectly reimagined as chill hip-hop beats, perfect for studying or relaxing.

Chilltendo II also features songs from the Pokémon, Xenoblade, Super Smash Bros., and Super Mario franchises and even concludes on a track from the Zelda-adjacent Okami. Fans of these series are sure to appreciate their inclusion. You can learn more about Jokabi on Twitter and Instagram. You can also find more video game remixes on GameChops’ YouTube channel.
