With the release of Zelda & Chill III, music producer and engineer Mikel has put the finishing touches on a well-received trilogy. First released in 2018, Zelda & Chill was a breath of fresh air within the community; the album gave fans new perspectives on some of their favorite songs from across the Zelda series. Each subsequent entry in the lofi series, which is slated to conclude with Zelda & Chill III, includes a diverse set of Zelda songs ranging from classics to underrated gems.

Zelda & Chill III is available on multiple platforms including YouTube, Spotify, Bandcamp, and Apple Music.

The album has fourteen tracks:

  • “Hyrule Field” (Twilight Princess)
  • “Kokiri Forest”
  • “Link’s Awakening”
  • “Temple of Time”
  • “Hyrule Castle II”
  • “Final Hours”
  • “Mipha’s Theme”
  • “Tears of the Kingdom”
  • “Legend of Lorule”
  • “Talus”
  • “Astral Observatory”
  • “Story Trailer” (Breath of the Wild)
  • “Credits” (Breath of the Wild)

In addition to the digital release, video game record label GameChops has announced a vinyl release campaign for Zelda & Chill III. With their purchase/preorder, customers will receive a first-edition vinyl copy of the new album. The 12″ vinyl album will be pressed on “heavyweight 180g collector’s grade frosted-glass vinyl.” The vinyl campaign has been a huge success, with over $18,000 USD raised so far. The campaign will run for the next thirty days, and customers will receive a digital copy of the album immediately upon completion of their purchase. The estimated release date of the vinyl album is April 2023.
